Cardrona Valley Wedding
What a great day. Kate and Lee,along with their bridal party , Jane and Nic, had their wedding at the Cardrona Hotel. I don't think we have ever met a bride as excited about her big day. Kate and Jane had their hair done at Flair in Wanaka. We caught up with the guys at the Dinosaur park and spent some time with them. We headed up to Cardrona around 2 for a 3pm ceremony. Evan Patterson from Queenstown was the celebrant and very entertaining he was too. After the ceremony, we took formal photos at the Cardrona Hotel , Wanaka Station Park, a Barn , Mr Whippys van and the wharf. Jan and I had a great day with 4 wonderful people. Thankyou Kate and Lee and Janeoh and Prop.

Fiji Wedding
Some times this is a tough industry to be in . We have just been booked to capture all the images from a wedding that is being held in Fiji next Queens Birthday weekend. Elaine and Mike are getting married on Plantation Island. Sounds like most of the family are going over. We are also taking lots of family group photos while all the families are together. As I say, sometimes it s tough doing this.
Queenstown Wedding Photos in the Snow
We have finished processing the images from the beautiful Wedding of Jacinta and Mark in Queenstown. What a wonderful couple. Jacinta wore one of the most colourful dresses we have ever seen. It was stunning. The ceremony was held in the Queenstown Gardens. Mark and Jacinta wanted photos in Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, and the Skyline Restaurant. Jacinta also wanted photos on the top of the Remarkable Mountain Range. Heres some of the pages from her Photo Book. Thanks guys for letting us be part of your day. It was one that we will remember. The number of bookings we have for Queenstown weddings this season is amazing. There is hardly a week goes by that we are not getting enquieries from Queenstown Brides or Brides from other areas getting married in or around Queenstown. So aften we get asked about different venues for Ceremonies and Receptions. We can honestly say that there are no bad ones. All the Ceremony and Reception venues we have worked at are first class. If you are planning your wedding in Queenstown and are unsure about venues etc let us know where you are thinking about holding your ceremony or reception and we are very happy to put some images up from past weddings at those particular venues to help you decide.

Mt Cook Wedding
Wow what a day. Sarah and Alex eloped from Australia to get married at Mt Cook. The wedding package and arrangements were all done by resident Wedding Planner Amber Cleverley from the Hermitage Hotel Aoraki Mt Cook. We all went through the night before because of the threat of the roads being closed. When we finally arrived at the Hermitage there was snow everywhere! The day of the wedding though was absolutely beautiful. After Sarah and Alex got ready at the Hermitage we traveled out to Glenntanner airport for a flight to Jollies Valley. Because our lovely young couple wanted video as well as photos, Jan Lisa and I loaded up all the gear for the job and away we went with the Helicopter Line Mt Cook. The ceremony was held with Dennis officiating in the valley and after photos, we headed down below the snow line for more photos. When we returned we took some shots on the side of Lake Pukaki then it was back to the hotel to sit in front of the fire and warm up. Thanks to Amber and the team from the Heritage it was a brilliant well planned day. Jan Lisa and I would like to pass on very special thanks to Sarah and Alex for a very memorable day. The girls cant wait to start processing all the images.

Girls Day Out in Wanaka
The girls day out in Wanaka this year was once again a big success. Jan and I packed up all the things you need for the shows and headed down to the Lake Wanaka Centre. It was a big day and we got to talk to lots of our clients both old and new. We also caught up on some of our Brides planning Queenstown and Wanaka Weddings. We had lots of interest in our family portraits for Christmas, and we put our new Business Starter pack into the market. This is a pack where new business people can have all the items in the way of marketing logos and signage done for a one off reasonable cost. Jeremy, our graphics designer put the package together and it is selling very well to people setting up new ventures and existing businesses re-branding. Thanks to everyone who called in to say hi. Thanks also to Radio Wanaka for organising the day. It was a great success.

Queenstown Wedding in the Gardens
Jacinta and Mark came out from Australia to be married in the Queenstown Gardens because they longed to have their Wedding photos taken in the snow and the streets of Arrowtown. We spent the morning with the girls while they had their hair and makeup done with the team from Collective in the Queenstown Mall. Later on we caught up with Mark and his family before we headed to the ceremony in the Queenstown Gardens. After the ceremony we spent time taking photos of their family and friends before we headed off to the Queenstown Airport to meet up with the crew from Heliworks for our flight to the top of the Remarkable mountain range. Next destination was the main street of Arrowtown and then on to the Skyline Restaurant for the reception.

Queenstown Church Wedding
Mel and Jared from Wellington chose Queenstown for their summer wedding. We photographed and videoed their wedding. The day began with us taking photos and video of the guys playing mini golf. The girls had their makeup and hair done at Collective in the Mall in Queenstown. The wedding ceremony was held at St Josephs Church.

The family photos were taken on the steps of the church, the formal photos were taken at the Queenstown Gardens and on the Lakefront. We also took photos up at the Skyline Restaurant where they had their reception.

Stoneridge Estate Queenstown Wedding
Carly and Sam eloped from Australia. They are both passionate about skiing and snowboarding so they decided to get married and have a honeymoon skiing and boarding. Stoneridge Estate is one of our favourite Queenstown wedding venues. Evan Paterson carried out the ceremony. Even in the middle of winter there are still many places to take great photos. Once we had finished all the shots around Stoneridge, it was on with the ski boots and away up the mountain for some snow shots.

Queenstown Wedding at Stoneridge Estate
Anneliese and Dennis were married in the Autumn in the quaint little chapel at Lake Hayes and the celebrant was Phillipa Cook. Following the ceremony the family gathered on the steps of the chapel for the family and group photos. The chapel is set in the fabulous grounds of Stoneridge Estate. There are many areas and opportunities for lovely photos throughout the grounds. The wedding reception area is so different. After you cross the drawbridge you enter a wonderful large reception room again with so many photo ops including the knight in armour. We captured many photos around the ponds and various attractions before we headed up to the mountains for some shots. Dennis is from America and was amazed (as everyone is) by the magnificent scenary.

Queenstown/Wanaka Wedding
Had a great day with Petra & Aaron . Its was as cold as it gets with snow on all the mountains, but it was a lovely wedding. Ralph Fagan was the celebrant and the wedding was held at the Wanaka Apartments. They had family and friends there and although it was a small wedding it was a great day. We took photos at the Ceremony, Waterfall Creek and Wanaka Station Park. Tomorrow we have the first of our Weddings at The Hermitage Aoraki Mount Cook. We are doing photos and video and the ceremony (weather permitting) is being held in the mountains. So three of us are going through. Interesting to note that The Hermitage has been one of the top spots in the World to have a wedding ceremony. Look at their web site and you can see why!
